Just a couple of weeks ago, multiple incidents of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones getting exploded were posted online which made the company to immediately halt the sales of Galaxy Note 7 in the US and globally. Samsung issued a global recall of Note 7 devices and replaced with brand new issue fixed Note 7 and Galaxy S7 Edge based on customer choice.

Not long ago, we reported that Samsung Note 2 busted into flames on an IndiGo flight mid-air that was flying from Singapore to Chennai. While there are several incidents about explosion of Samsung smartphones circulating on the internet, now added to those are the exploding Samsung Washing machines.

Several Exploding Samsung Washing Machines Reported in America

A series of complaints were registered at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in regards to exploding Samsung Washing machines. The CPSC has then said that some models of Samsung top-loading washing machines have safety issues and advised people to check of theirs are in the list.

As many as 21 incidents were reported in Texas, Georgia and Indiana about exploding Samsung Washing machines and they have filed a federal class-action lawsuit against Samsung.

The affected consumers have also said, “Samsung has moved aggressively to collect and destroy all evidence of the defective machines after they exploded.”

Samsung Statement About Exploding Samsung Washing Machines

Samsung has officially issued a statement regarding exploding Samsung Washing machines, “In rare cases, affected units may experience abnormal vibrations that could pose a risk of personal injury or property damage when washing bedding, bulky or water-resistant items.”

Those washing machines exploded in the US were manufactured between 2011 and 2016. You can check if yours is among those affected machines here.

Samsung has to do something to gain faith in their brand. Some reports in China have claimed that the replaced Galaxy Note 7 that’s “safe note 7” is also exploding. It was Galaxy Note 7 yesterday, now its Samsung top-loading washing machines, and what could be tomorrow?

Samsung is in serious trouble that these reports had affected their sales worldwide. People are losing their faith on Samsung products and it’s an alarm call for Samsung to wake up and act immediately.
