Google has released an update for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow last week with patches fixing the slow clock bug, which were reported on their forum by more than 400 users.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow was rolled out in October to the Nexus devices and other handsets. Soon after the update, many had reported on the company’s forum, saying the system clock is slower and in some cases the clock lag behind 15 minutes than the actual time.

Realizing the issue, Google has released an Android 6.0.1Marshmallow over-the-air (OTA) update, which fixes the issue. Those who haven’t received the update can visit the company’s website and download the flash image of the latest version. Even new emojis have been included in the update.
