While all smartphones makers are testing the latest Android 7.0 Nougat on their phones in regards to dependency of the processor. The Android Nougat 7.0 is supported only with performance processors such as high trims of Exynos, Snapdragon and MediaTek processors.

Google has already begun rolling out the Android Nougat 7.0 update to its Nexus devices

Motorola will be the first OEM to release the Android Nougat 7.0 update to its Moto X, Moto G, Moto E, and Moto Z series of smartphone next month. Samsung is now testing the Android 7.0 Nougat on their devices, of which the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are in top priority.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Exynos variants will be the first in Samsung lineup to get Android Nougat 7.0 update as the company is currently testing on these devices. Globally, the unlocked Exynos variants of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be receiving the Android Nougat 7.0 Update before November.

It was earlier said that the latest Samsung Gallaxy Note 7 will be first to get Android Nougat 7.0 Update, but due to massive global recall, it has been put on hold. Samsung will replace the Note 7 with tweaked brand new Note 7 by the end of this month.

In Western countries like the US, Canada, and the UK, smartphones are mostly sold through network carriers, so they are used to roll out the update. After Samsung started tolling out the Android Nougat 7.0 Update, we can expect the network carriers Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others to roll out gradually.
