Apple today launched the next generation iPhone for the year 2016 at this year’s Apple big event held at in San Francisco. As expected, the new iPhone 7 comes with all the bells and whistles that surfaced online for weeks now.

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc., introduced the most anticipated phone of the year, the iPhone 7 and is expected to go on sale by the end of September in the United States. Apart from iPhone 7, the event also saw the launch of Apple Watch 2, iPhone 6SE and several other new announcements.

The key features of the phone are waterproofing, Force touch home button, dual camera setup, bigger battery and lighting audio jack. Inside, we can expect A10 processor mated with 3GB of RAM. There won’t be any possible home button and it may use ultrasonic fingerprint reading technologies. Storage comes in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB ditching the 16GB model.

The biggest highlight of iPhone 7 is the dual-camera setup that comes exclusive in iPhone 7 Plus. The dual camera setup has two 12-megapixel camera on the rear with optical zoom, and light field camera applications.

Similar to iPhone 5SE that was launched a few months ago, the iPhone 6SE will take on space in emerging market like China and India. It will come with the goodies from iPhone 6s Plus.
