Without making a big moving scene, Apple has refreshed its 12-inch MacBook and MacBook Air notebooks.

The refreshed 12-inch MacBook now sports Skylake processors (Core M) which can be clocked from 1.3GHz to 3.1GHz, Intel HD Graphics 515 and PCIe SSDs. The devices will be available in Gold, Silver, Space Grey and Rose Gold options. The RAM on the MacBook has also been bumped up to 1866MHz.

With a slight tweak in hardware, the battery life and performance of the MacBook has been increased, whereas the incremented Graphics alone increases the performance by 25%. The upgraded MacBook will now offer 10 hours web browsing and 11 hours of continuous video playback, thanks to the refreshed hardware.

Apple’s 13-inch MaBook Air, on the other hand, gets a slighter upgrade in terms of base RAM. The 8GB RAM is now standard across the MacBook Air variants while the 11-inch Air will still have the same 4GB RAM.

The base model MacBook with a 1.1GHz Core M CPU, 8GB RAM and 256GB flash storage will be available for Rs 1,06,900 starting today. Upgraded models are available from Rs 1,29,900 onwards, depending on the configuration.
