Honda has launched the Accord facelift in Thailand that was showcased at the Indian Auto Expo earlier this month. The facelifted Accord gets all the bells and whistles on both the exterior as well as interior. The facelifted version retains the overall design language of the premium sedan, but gets a revamped grille, new LED headlamps with DRLs and the new pair of LED tail lights. On the Inside front, the car gets a large 7.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity.
The car comes with two engine options – the 2.0-litre petrol and 2.4-litre petrol producing 150bhp and 172 bhp, respectively. Both engines are powered by front wheel drive mated to automatic transmission.
As far Indian market, the car is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine coupled with an electric motor. The Accord facelift hybrid will be launched in India sometime in the second half of 2016. The Accord facelift will be imported to India through CBU route and will take on the Toyota Camry upon launch.
