The Nissan GT-R has been on roads since 2007 and it’s now likely an age old sports car. Nissan constantly keeps upgrading the sports car since its launch.
However, it seems Nissan is in no hurry to make the next generation GT-R. Instead, Nissan will keep on updating the existing car with lighter design and engine revisions until the brand brings a new model sometime in 2018.
The spy shots of the Nissan GT-R surfaced and it appears the car being put on testing in California.
The spy shots show a few design revision applied to the car that includes a redesigned front fascia with a deeper and more aggressive air intake under the grille.
On the rear front, there are new LED lights, revised bumper and much more revisions.
The current GT-R is powered by a3.8 litre V6 engine generating 545bhp and 591bhp in the NISMO version. And the 2017 model is likely to produce 600bhp with mild modifications.
Nissan GT-R will get additional premium options like premium leather interiors and top-niche audio system.
We are expecting to have a clear picture of the new GT-R sometime in 2016 before deliveries are made out, may be in autumn.
