Honda India having a larger market share in two-wheeler segment in India has launched a new motorcycle named the Honda CB Hornet 160R at an event in Goa. The company has also launched an Android mobile app, which facilitates customers to book the motorcycle online.
Honda CB Hornet 160R Specifications
The Honda CB Hornet 160R gets a sturdy look with an aggro headlight, wider rear tyre, dual petal front disc brake and optional rear disc brake. The overall look of the bike is fresh with a larger muscle tank, 5-spoke split alloy wheels, silver finished compact muffler, X-shaped tail light and a digital speedometer console.
The Honda CB Hornet 160R runs on a 162.71cc single cylinder air-cooled mill engineered with HET with BS-IV technology that is clubbed to five-speed manual transmission. The engine churns out 15.6bhp of power at 8500rpm and 14.76Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The street fighter has been positioned in the premium commuter segment, which will compete with Yamaha FZ-S Version 2.0, Suzuki Gixxer and the Bajaj Pulsar AS150.
The Hornet 160R will be available in five color options – Neo Orange Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Sports Red, Pearl Siren Blue and Pearl Night Star Black. The Honda CB Hornet carries a price tag of Rs. 9,900 (ex-showroom Delhi).
