It is the most affordable and less powerful version of the Model S and that comes with lesser range and fewer features. The electric car made its debut last year and was announced that it will be first car from Tesla range of electric cars to arrive Indian shores. The company has also received overwhelming response from Indians, with pre-booking for the car along with other models closed late last year.
The Model 3 will be the first car from Tesla to run onto the Indian roads followed by other models, Including Model S among others. However, the Indian-bound Model 3 could vary vastly in features when compared to the international model because the company’s well reached autopilot feature will not be loaded in Indian versions.
The Model 3 will be available in Indian for Rs. 23 lakhs, and will be imported from the US via CBU route. The car can accelerate from standstill to 100 kmph in just 6 seconds with range of about 320 Kilometers in a single charge. To know more about Indian bound Model 3, just read this article.
