Mahindra Gusto 125 is finally made official with a price tag of Rs. 50, 920 (ex-showroom Chennai), and is available in two variants – the DX and VX, priced at Rs. 54,920.
Look-wise, the Gusto 125 is merely identical to its predecessor – the Gusto 110, and features like find –me lamps, guide lamp, adjustable seat and remote flip key are available as well. With height adjustable seat, everyone in the family can effortlessly raise or lower the seat height to a position that suits them the best, for a comfortable and safe ride. The Gusto 125 comes with a large 12” tubeless tyres allowing greater stability at any speed.
The scooter is powered by a 125cc 4 Stroke, Air Cooled M-TEC Engine that is good for 8.5bhp and 10Nm of peak torque. The engine is coupled to a CVT transmission. Unlike other scooters out in the market, you’ll find enough storage space under the seat as well as near the instrument cluster. The stopping power of the scooter is taken care by drum brakes on the both the rear and front as well. Another version with front disc brake is in the pipeline and will hit the stores later this year.
Mahindra Gusto 125 is available in orange rush, bolt white, monarch black, and regal red colors and, it will take on the likes of Suzuki Access 125 and the Honda Activa 125.
