There are only a few days left for the official debut, the specifications of the unannounced Mahindra NuvoSport has been making rounds on the web.
The sub-4 meter SUV will be launched in India on April 4, which will be replacing the Quanto in the passenger vehicle lineup.
The new Mahindra NuvoSport will be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that delivers 99bhp and 240Nm of torque in the power mode and 71bhp/180Nm in the economy mode. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as well as 5-speed AMT unit.
As for design aspects, the fascia of the SUV has been completely revamped, however, it still retains the same side and rear profile of the Qunato. The NuvoSport is essentially the facelift version of Qunato. The front gets aggressive and bold styling cues with the rugged black bumper and faux skid plate, LED DRLs, and a faux hood scoop.
Inside, the cabin is expected to share the same seven-seater layout from Quanto, but dressed with premium upholstery and refreshed cabin with new trim options. The top-end trim will be having all the premium specs like reverse parking camera, centre console system, Bluetooth connection, cruise control and so on. It is also said that the new NuvoSport will be offered in four variants – N4, N4+, N6 and N8. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 7 lakh to Rs 9 lakh which will put it in a similar bracket as the TUV300.
