Mercedes launched AMG S65 Cabriolet at the Detroit Auto Show. The S65 is the high-end version of the new S-Class Cabriolet. The S65 boasts a spacious cabin and a three-layer folding fabric roof. It packs a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 hand-made engine, which is good for 630 hp and 1000 Nm of torque, allowing the convertible to kick off from 0-62 mph time in just 4.1 seconds and en route to a top speed of 186 mph.
This is the same engine you’ll find in the G65 sport-ute or SL65 roadster. It is the first time that Mercedes will offer a V12 in a four-seater convertible. The luxury convertible will feature three individual driving modes through the AMG Speedshift plus 7G-tronic transmission.
