Nissan GT-R finally made its way to India through this year’s Auto Expo and the sports car reserves a launch date in September in India.
GT-R is one of the cars Japanese carmaker planning to bring to the Indian shore, including the Micra and the Terrano.
The GT-R is the company’s flagship sports car and one of the top selling sports cars in the world since 2007. The car has seen multiple iterations since its launch, however, it seems Nissan is in no hurry to make the next generation GT-R. Instead, Nissan will keep on updating the existing car with lighter design and engine revisions until the brand brings a new model sometime in 2018.
The GT-R is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine churning out 554bhp at 6400rpm and a staggering 632Nm of max torque between 3200rpm-5800rpm. The car is loaded with a host of technology and racing aids.
The GT-R comes with an all-wheel drive and with the six-speed automatic transmission, the car completes the 0-100km/h sprint in just 2.7 seconds and on an incredible top speed of 310km/h.
