Indian-bound Nissan X-Trail was revealed at the 32nd Thai Moto Expo 2015 that held in Bangkok. The body language of the SUV seems to be borrowed from its predecessor. However, we don’t have enough information about this variant, which will land in India next year.
The Nissan X-Trail is already on sale in Thailand and other select global markets. The International version comes with all features that would be normally equipped in a premium SUV.
The Nissan X-Trail is available in two trims in the international market. Of those two, one is powered by a 2.0-litre engine that develops 149.5bhp/220NM and the other equips a massive 2.5-litre engine producing 186bhp/234Nm. The 2.0-litre engine is offered with either six-speed manual or CVT transmission while the latter comes only with the CVT gearbox.
Presumably, the Nissan X-Trail will be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi.
