Volvo unveiled the most luxurious car they’ve built to date at this year’s Geneva Motor Show earlier this month. The XC90 Excellence is expected to launch in the US sometime in the second half of 2016.
The XC90 Excellence is based on the company’s popular XC90 SUV platform, however, the all new Excellence is the hub of ultra-luxurious and most expensive things. Dressed for the occasion and equipped with high-quality upholstery, extended leather-covered surfacing, additional sound insulation and a Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system on top of the regular SUV amenities, the new range-topper promises “a new level of luxurious calm and comfort”.

The XC90 Excellence comes with distinctive four adjustable individual seats combined with massage feature makes it so incredible. The seats even have ventilation features. Occupants comfort level has been enhanced with folding tables.
Also, there is a champagne cooler along with handcrafted crystal glasses from the Swedish glassmaker Orrefors. The temperature of the cup holders can be controlled so that you can have your drink of choice cold or warm.
The retractable touchscreen allows you to control different functions of the car. With two individual media displays mounted at the back of the front seats, you’ll experience a theatre with Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system on the wheels. You can even set the ambient lighting based on your mood.
The XC90 Excellence will be hitting the markets of Switzerland, France, Belgium and Luxembourg in the first round of sale, which will be sold through online channels. By the year end, the SUV will be made available in China and the United States as well.
