We’ve earlier reported that Bajaj’s intention to enter into above 350cc segment that has been dominated by Royal Enfield in India. And, now we have spy shots of the Pulsar CS400 testing mule.

The bike was debuted at the 2014 Auto Expo as a prototype model and was spotted for the first time near Pune, indicating that the model is indeed part of the future offering.

We can expect the performance cruiser to make its way to stores sometime later this year. The spy shots are slightly blurred, but they reveal that the model that has been spotted is merely identical to the one showcased at last year’s Auto Expo.

Though the test mule is fully camouflaged, the overall body design, head light cluster, and tail lamp show only some minimal changes were done compared to the concept. The test mule has regular telescopic suspension instead of upside-down forks spotted on the concept model and it has a split seat.

There are two instrument consoles – one mounted on the handlebar and the other on the fuel tank, similar to Ducati Diavel. Engine details are yet unknown, however, more details on the bike will be revealed in the coming months. The Pulsar CS400 will be the most powerful bike in line after its launch and will take on the likes of 300cc bikes and above.
