Coolpad launches Note 3 Lite with 5-inch 720p display, MediaTek SoC

    Coolpad has launched the lighter version of the Coolpad Note 3, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite in India. The smaller variant of the phone will retail for Rs. 6,999 ($103) on Amazon India with sales starting from January 28.

    The Note 3 Lite sports a 5-inch 720p display and runs Android 5.1 lollipop based CoolUI 6.0 OS. The phone packs in a 64bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with ARM Mali T720 GPU clubbed with 3GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory, a microSD extension up to 32GB, and a 2500mAh battery.

    In terms of camera, it sports 13-megapixels on the back with LED flash and 5-megapixels on the front. It also retains the fingerprint sensor making it as the cheapest phone on the Indian market to have it. The handset supports dual-SIM with both slots dedicated to LTE and includes proximity, light, gravity, magnetic, and accelerometer sensors. Measuring 140.8mm x 70.4mm x 8.9mm and weighing 152 grams, the phone will be only available in Champagne Gold.
