Porsche 911 Turbo: The German automaker has displayed both the coupe and convertible version of the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S at the Detroit Auto Show 2016.

The models were out sometime ago, though, it is the first time they were displayed flat for the public.

Both are powered by 3.8-litre flat-six cylinder twin-turbocharged engine that develops either 540 or 580hp, depending on the version you choose. The Turbo and Turbo S would accelerate from 0-60mph in just 2.9 and 2.7 seconds respectively.

Inside, changes include a new GT sport steering wheel with a design adopted from the 918 Spyder, a rotary dial for the four modes; Normal, Sport, Sport Plus or Individual and a Sport Response button at the centre of the mode switch which pre-conditions the engine and transmission for optimum performance. This optimization lasts for up to 20 seconds.

Cosmetically, both 911 Turbo and Turbo S get a redesigned front fascia with side-mounted airblades and narrow LED front lights. New design 20-inch diameter wheels are available with seven spoke centre locking wheels an option on the 911 Turbo S.

Wheel dimensions have changed for the 911 Turbo and now measure 9J x 20 at the front and 11.5J x 20 at the rear, half an inch wider than previously.
