Maharaja Vikramadeva

Actor Prabhas garnered worldwide attention after the release of the Baahubali: The Beginning, and the latest buzz about the movie hints at spectators will talk much about his characters when Baahubali 2 opens on April 28th.

The previous edition revealed a lot about Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali, the two avatars of Prabhas, but the film didn’t shed light on the third character Vikramadeva, father of Amarendra Baahubali and brother of Bijjaladeva(Nazzar).

According to sources familiar with the matter, we learnt that audiences will get to witness lots of action of Vikramadeva, who was just portrayed through a painting in the first part. Sivagami (Ramya Kriishnan) takes the control of the kingdom after the death of Maharaja Vikramadeva (his death conspiracy is likely to be revealed) who raises his son Amarendra Baahubali. The death conspiracy of Amarendra will also be revealed in this movie.

As per trade, Baahubali 2 will get tremendous opening not only in India but also in foreign locations, releasing in around 6500 screens in India and over 1000 screens in North America. This is the first non-American movie to get such massive opening out there. The movie had already made Rs. 500 crores in pre-release business through satellite and theatrical rights so there are high chances for the movie to cross Rs. 1000 crores at worldwide box office. If it happens, it will be first Indian movie to enter 1000 crore club.
