Dangal is getting big day by day. The film has outperformed several box office records in the first opening weekend. The film has surpassed Sultan’s first weekend box office collection by a rough margin. Dangal has collected 106.95 crore in the opening weekend, thus entering the 100 crore club in a limited days.
On the first day, Dangal collected 29.76 crore which is the highest for any Aamir Khan movie, considering it was a working day. Dangal saw a significant increase in theatre occupancy rate and 20% increase in collection resulting in 34.82 on Saturday, which stands third highest second day collection. On the closing day weekend, Sunday, the film recorded 42.35 crore gross which is also the second highest single day collection in Bollywood. The film recorded the third highest opening weekend collection ever in Indian cinemas.
With this current trend, trade experts have predicted Dangal would collect around 350 crore in the coming days. On its fourth day (Monday), the film is expected to collect 22-25 crore considering today as working day.
