Dangal Movie Review
There are lots of things to talk about Aamir dedication and passion towards Dangal like putting on weight and losing it in a short span, and his performance in the movie is totally mind-blowing. This movie is one such example of his commitment and devotion for cinemas, we have seen a lot of movies where he had done remarkable things which other actors hesitate to do.
Let us not get deep into Aamir khan’s performance because we knew his credibility. But, it is the time to talk about the girls of Dangal, who are the real heroes of the show. Their performance and commitment in the film is totally unbelievable and they have a bright future though.
Dangal is all about wrestling and sport. It ‘s a biopic of legendary father Mahavir Singh Phogot, so there’s no need to elaborate the story of the film as everyone would have knew it by now. To say in a single line, Mahavir Singh is an enthusiastic wrestler who capitulates to the politics of sport pledges to bring up his girls in the game and make them to win the radiance of Gold for the nation which he was not able do so.
Though there is lots of patriotism in the film, if it was taken as a documentary it might have not yield such shattering results. But the right blend of flimsy moments and the realistic touch is what Dangal makes it so watchable.
Dangal Movie Story & Plot
The film opens with the more youthful self of Mahavir Singh who misses the mark concerning Gold in a big wrestling game as he was not able to afford for training and pursue the sport. So he decides to gain his dream of Gold for his nation by satisfying with his child, yet destiny has distinctive plans after his significant other brings forth four girls that make him to give up his dream. One of the incidents raises his hopes and started training his girls. The first half ends with things as expected, the sudden raise of Geetha Phogot into the National field of wrestling is wonderful and hailed everywhere throughout the country. Until then the script unfurls like typically with a preparation melody, obviously Geetha loses her first match just to continue winning each and every of them to take after and after that makes it to the trails and all such things.
Yet, the genuine battle comes a short time later, a father and little girl’s enthusiastic fight that tests the very establishment they have based on. After taking on different hardships the genuine trial of father-girl is somewhat depicted in such an adorable way. The highlight of the movie is its screenplay which is so gripping and engaging that you can’t afford a minute where several scenes in the movie didn’t need dialogues, just an expression is enough to bring tears from your eyes. What happened to the father’s dream? How Geetha managed to avenge her fears and get into the international championship? is the rest of the story.
Dangal is one of the best sport film ever made in Indian cinemas. As a whole package, you won’t find any downside in the movie except the dramatic emotional things, of course, it’s a true story that has lots of struggles and obliviously they won’t bother you. The director scores in all verticals and the performance of Aamir and the girls are the highlight of the film.
Dangal is a true sport that exhibits extra-ordinary performances of Aamir and the girls which is a complete package of spirit of a father and his daughters.
