Appatlo Okadundevadu Movie Review

Appatlo Okadundevadu Story & Plot

Sree Vishnu as Railway Raju is an aspiring cricketer who desperately waits for getting selected into Ranji Team from Hyderabad. And, Nara Rohit as Imtiaz plays the cop who is hunting down Naxals. In a sudden twist Imtiaz arrests Railway Raju which makes him a murderer and eventually loses his chance of getting selected in Ranji Cricket for Hyderabad team. The incident turns the life apart for Raju and starts to avenge Imtiaz. He comes to know about Imtiaz and why he targeted him via a flashback. Why Raju becomes killer? What’s between them and how they manage to resolve their revenge? forms the crux of the story.

The highlight of the film is the gripping unconventional screenplay in which the director adopts the main plot of the movie from real incidents and developed it into a beautiful story. The story line is crystal clear with simple and clean dialogues.

Performance wise both Nara Rohit, Sree Vishnu have rocked the stage. They have given their best in the movie. While Nara Rohit as protagonist and Sree Vishnu as antagonist, they have done a terrific job with their brilliance performance. It’s a simple story that would remind you some past movies, but the actor’s performance involves us into the movie. Tanya Hope as the female lead has done her part well, but she didn’t have much scope in the film because the film revolves around the two lead male characters.  Brahmaji, Prabhas Srinu, Srinivas Reddy and the other actors impress us with their roles. Rajeev Kanakala also plays a useful and exciting role.

Verdict: Appatlo Okadundevadu , on the whole, is an engaging, emotional and entertaining ride that will introduce us to a new style of film making in Telugu. It’s a quite watchable film.
