Mysskin about Thupparivaalan

Mysskin is an acclaimed director of Tamil cinemas and his films will have a different way of storytelling than mainstream Kollywood movies. He is currently helming Thupparivaalan with Vishal in the lead which also stars Prasanna, Anu Emmanuel, K.Bhagyaraj and Andrea in crucial roles. The movie has been in the production for a long time and Mysskin has something to say about this movie finally.

The Pisaasu director has shared some interesting details and the status of the movie. He has been criticized by movie fanatics in the past that his movies were no original but inspired from other language movies. This is what Mysskin has to say about Thupparivaalan:

“We have 10 more days of shoot left for Thupparivaalan and I am content with the way the film has taken care of business up until this point. I had this script as a top priority for quite a while now and Vishal possesses all the necessary qualities of playing a Sherlock Holmes – like investigator. Prasanna’s character has the shades of Dr. Watson. Everybody gets roused from something or the other. Mahatma Gandhi was roused by Harichandra. In like manner, Edgar Allen Poe thought of the principal analyst story and afterward came Sherlock Holmes. There is a thin line amongst inspiration and plagiarism. My story has nothing identified with Sherlock Holmes or other detective films. Thupparivaalan has tales from Subramaniya Bharathi, Mahatma Gandhi, there is love, fellowship and sense of self. This is something I generally needed to compose. With every film beginning from Chithiram Pesudhadi, I have learnt a considerable measure of things in taking care of such script. Around 200 more films are about to come with the same genre”

About working with Vishal, Mysskin says that Vishal was his conspicuous decision for this script. “Vishal’s body suited the script well. Notwithstanding, for the film, I contributed with my information sources and he did whatever he could. He resembles my more youthful sibling and I generally hear him out. Be that as it may, I ponder, if gathering of people will consider Thupparivaalan to be Vishal’s film or Mysskin’s. There are 10 more days of shoot left before we wrap up.This motion picture will be discharged by Vishal Film Factory banner on August 11th, I have treated all characters similarly for this film.”
