Google has started rolling out an update for the desktop version of its photos service today, that makes it easier to edit photos than ever.

The update brings with it a feature that allows you to navigate between photos while staying in editing mode. Your edits will be saved automatically, once you move away from the edit mode, and undoing them is as simple by clicking on ‘Revert to Original’.

Also, a new aspect ratio selector lets you get an exact crop. Choose from Original, Square, 16:9, and 4:3.
