Google finally announced the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL smartphones and that comes with pretty powerful specifications and features. While the phones come with usual specifications, the upside of the Pixel is the Daydream VR compatibility and the fastest 12MP camera.

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL are the first Made by Google devices which is backed by Google Assistant, improved camera, and Daydream VR. The Pixel comes with pretty impressive specifications, however the price tag of Google Pixel is high than expected.

As for Indian pricing, the Google Pixel commands Rs 57,000 and Rs 66,000 for the 32GB and 128 storage options respectively while the larger Pixel XL will go for Rs 67,000 and Rs 76,000 for 32GB and 128GB variants respectively.

The price is pretty high when compared with other 2016 flagship smartphones, though it doesn’t have the features and specifications found on other flagships.

Given the fact, the Pixel has some advanced features and specifications than the other flagships – Samaung Galaxy S7 Edge, OnePlus 3 and Motorola Moto z. But on the price point, the Google Pixel is high than those that makes Google hard to convince buyers to put a huge amount on a phone.

Google Assistant and the Daydream VR are the upsides of the phone with custom Android. Google wants to bid high on marketing strategies in order to take on Apple iPhone 7.
