    Last Updated: 8 February, 2016

Google has started rolling out this month’s Android security update to the Nexus device. This update includes a number of fixes, including five critical issues, four high-priority issues, and a moderate bug.

The Nexus devices 6P, 5X, 6, 5, and 7 are all receiving Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update – MMB29Q build. Also, the Pixel C, Nexus 9 and the Nexus Player are receiving this month’s patch with build numbers MXB48T, MMB29R and MMB29U respectively. The Nexus 10 is also getting Android 5.1.1 update with LMY49G build.

In case, if you didn’t receive the OTA notification yet, you can click here, and download the factory images. But, it is worth noting that installing the factory image will restore your device to factory settings, meaning you’ll lose all your date. So, back up your data before preceding the install.
