Harley-Davidson has withdrawn the Superlow and Fatboy Special from the Indian market because of the awful sales recorded by these bikes.

SuperlowBoth the bikes were launched in India in 2012 and sales of these bikes were dropped in recent months. The two bikes were sold in India as CKD units. However, the company’s official website still lists the bikes under 2015 line-up, provided that these bikes will not be available from 2016. The bikes were sold at Rs 6.32 lakh (Superlow) and Rs 16.24 lakh (Fatboy Special) respectively and the prices are subjected to ex-showroom, Delhi.

Harley-Davidson Fatboy specialThe American company has seen a lavish drop in sales of bikes above 7 lakh. However, Street 750 will be continued in India, but the sale of this bike has considerably dropped over these years. If this continues in a long run, the Street 750 may also be volatile to the Indian market.
