HBO releases Game of Thrones Season 6 trailer; will Jon Snow be resurrected?

HBO has released a brand new red band trailer of Game of Thrones – Season Six on Tuesday. The trailer sets the stage of what would happen in the next, involving all the characters from the series , everything in the nearly two-minutes video. As we look closer at the trailer, the plot is designed revolving around Jon Snow, convincing us that he’d actually go to survive.

The trailer starts with Davos Seaworth’s (Liam Cunningham) voice-over saying, “He’s gone,” but the scenes coming after proves Jon Snow would be resurrected by red priestess Melisandre (Carice van Houten). That continues, Davos and Melisandre are making their way to the Castle Black at the wall.

In a voice over, Melisandre tells Davos, “The great victory I saw in the flames, all of it was a lie.” She was referring to Stannis Baratheon, saying he would defeat Ramsay Bolton in a great battle. Davos is alone at the Wall inside a room with Jon’s corpse hinting us that he would steal the body from the wall. An earlier shot explains, Davos standing outside the Castle Black next to a pyre, probably to burn Jon Snow, where Melisandre could use her fire magic to bring him alive.

Meanwhile, Jaime Lannister promising his sister “We’re the only ones who matter, and everything they’ve taken from us we’re going to take back … and more.” And, you’d imagine the rest, what’d happen, of course, more bloodshed, vengeance, sex, dragons, and a lot more. Did I mention White Walkers? No. Obliviously, they are there, as well.

You are in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying.
