Samsung Pay lets you add loyalty and membership cards

    Samsung Pay has its presence in several countries and it is expanding its market, in order to make it available for everyone. Samsung has recently added a new feature to its payment service Samsung Pay that makes your wallet a bit lighter. The service now allows you to add loyalty cards and membership cards of various merchandisers such as Costco, Starbucks, CVS and much more. You can add up to 100 membership cards to the app.

    If you have the latest version of the App, you can go ahead and add your membership cards straight. Or, update the app to the latest version. To do so, go to More > Settings > About > Samsung Pay > Update in the Samsung Pay app on your phone.

    Updating Samsung PayNow, you’ll be able to your membership cards to the app. You can do it by either way – tap the Add option at the top of the screen, or by selecting the Membership tab followed by Add new card.

    By default, you can see a lengthy list of supported membership cards in the app, if you don’t find yours there, you can add it manually. The supported cards will show some additional info like a link to company’s mobile app and contact info. Manually-entered cards will only show the details you enter.

    Adding membership cards to samsung payUse your phone’s camera to scan the membership number or enter it manually. It’s safe to snap a picture of the front and back of the card for future use. There’s an option to add a card to Simple pay. Just check the box that allows you to avail the card even from the lock screen. Else, you’ll need to launch the app every time to access your targeted cards.
