HTC has unveiled its latest Desire series of a smartphone dubbed HTC Desire 830 in Taiwan on Tuesday. The smartphone will retail at TWD 9,900 (approx. 20,600) and will be available for purchase in the country starting from Friday.
The HTC Desire 830 packs in a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Sense UI out-of-the-box. Powering the device is the 64 bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC (MT6753) clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The HTC Desire 830 features stereo speaker setup with company’s signature BoomSound technology alongside Dolby Audio compatibility. There’s a 32GB storage onboard that can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Camera-wise, you’ll get 13-megapixels on the back with optical image stabilization (OIS), f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front, there’s a 4-ultrapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture too. The Desire 830 is powered by a 2800mAh battery and will be available in blue and red color variants.
