Actor and Senior BJP Leader Krishnam Raju have been appointed as the Governor of the state of Tamil Nadu, according to sources. There’s no official confirmation either from Tamil Nadu Government or central Government regarding Krishnam Raju’s appointment, but political insiders have spilled the beans that he will soon take the charge of the state.
The Governor position of the state is currently vacant after Konijeti Rosaiah ended his tenure, and CH Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra is additionally in-charge as the acting Governor of Tamil Nadu. Due to several issues in the state, the position wasn’t filled for months now, and the appointment of Krishnam Raju who is the senior BJP leader, give us a clear picture that Modi has begun his surgical strikes on Tamil Nadu politics.
Congrats to Senior Actor, Ex-Minister, BJP Leader Krishnam Raju Garu for being appointed as Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu

He became active in politics in late 1990’s and became a prominent member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was elected for loksabha from Kakinada and Narasapur constituencies in 12th (1998) and 13th (1999) respectively. The former Central Minister had served several posts during his tenure in politics such as Union Minister of State, Ministry of External Affairs, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Union Minister of State, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food onwards and Public Distribution.
Krishnam Raju will be preceding Konijeti Rosaiah as the Governor of Tamil Nadu, who was also a Telugu leader. We are expecting an official announcement from the state as well as the centre regarding the new Governor of Tamil Nadu soon.
