India Launches Hajj 2017 Mobile App

Few days back, the Ministry of Minority Affairs launches a dedicated website for online registration for annual pilgrimage for Hajj 2017. The website can be viewed in four languages – English, Urdu, Hindi, and Arabic. Now, the Ministry has launched an Android app for registration process for Hajj 2017. The app is available for download on Google Play Store.

Hajj is a sacred pilgrimage trip which is performed annually by millions of Muslims all over the world. With India going digitally, the Ministry has made the application process in digital, the first of its kind in India. The registration for Hajj 2017 was started yesterday, January 2, 2017 and will go through January 24, 2017.

Individuals can learn everything about Hajj in a single place, that’s the app, right from applying for Hajj, enquiry and information, news and updates and e-payment are main features of the Haj Committee of India (HCI) mobile app.

It is said, “Application for Hajj can be made directly from the app. Five adults and two infants can apply together as a group. A PDF copy of the form will go to the applicant’s email. After affixing the photo, the printout with documents is to be sent to the state haj committees. Registration fees can also be made through this app.”

The Hajj 2017 app is a convenient platform for those who wanted to register for their annual Hajj pilgrimage.
