Sasikala Pushpa Corners Sasikala: Sasikala Pushpa MP of All Indian Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), who has been forced to leave the party have written a letter to the Tamil Nadu Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao, saying she fears that some people might use Chief Miniter J Jayalalithaa signature to take over the party and the government.
In a letter addressed to the governor, Pushpa said “It is feared that some people around Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, now hospitalised, may forge her signature to nominate a deputy general secretary to AIADMK and to run the Government also. Kindly verify ADMK general secretary signature if any official communication came from her. We request you to verify carefully, if at all any official communication came from them in this or any other regard.” Sasikala Pushpa indirectly encounters Jayalalithaa’s friend Sasikala.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, who has been hospitalized on Septmber 22 for fever and dehydration, is still in the Apollo Hospitals, under close observation and treatment.
Apollo Hospitals on Saturday in a press statement said, “The respiratory support is closely watched and adjusted. Lungs decongestion treatment is being continued. All other comprehensive measures including nutrition, supportive therapy and passive physiotherapy are under way.”
Tamil Nadu Opposition parties DMK and DMDK have asked the government to declare officially what’s happening with Jayalalithaa health and set up an interim Chief Minister to run the state until she recovers completely.
