Samsung hasn’t officially revealed any of the details of its next flagship phone, which is set to be unveiled at the “Galaxy Unpacked 2016” event on 21st of February. Until then, several leaks would be making rounds, and the company’s Indonesian site has teased a video showing off the latest Galaxy lineup. The video gives us a glimpse of what we can expect from the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, though, it didn’t reveal much of the details. The design looks identical to the previous Galaxy S6, and the rainy visual confirms the waterproofing, support for wireless charging and Gear S2 smartwatch. Also, there isn’t a camera hump at the back as well. The phone will be available in White, Gold, and Black as featured in the video.
The Indonesian web page has also quoted “bring light to the night” that points to better low-light camera performance. A Korean website claims that Samsung is working on a special Batman v Superman edition for the Galaxy S7 Edge, which is slated to release next month. Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Limited Edition in select countries, so the claim makes some sense.
Another Korean report claims that Samsung has some strategic plans to ramp up the production line for the Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone this year to meet the growing demands. Samsung faced difficulties to meet the demand for the Galaxy S6 last year, so the South Korean company has added a new production line in advance to fulfill the orders.
