LG has announced that its latest modular smartphones – the G5 will go on sale worldwide on the 31st of March. The company also said the smartphone will come bundled with freebies – LG G5 modular accessories – depending on the market.
Aside, the modular G5, some of its friends are also making their way to the retail stores and their prices are revealed as well. The cam Plus module will cost you $85 and the Bang & Olufsen audio module for $160.
BestBuy has started accepting pre-orders for the AT&T and Sprint variants in the US, and the Verizon variant should be up for preorder starting March 24. The retailer is offering $100 savings on the device with purchase and activation of a 2-year contract with Sprint. Alternatively, buyers will get a $100 Best Buy gift card with purchase and activation of monthly installment plan – this promo is also available for the AT&T variant.
Apart from these offers, all purchases will come with a $90 worth free bundles, including a replacement battery, charging cradle and USB-C to micro-USB adaptor.
