Logitech launches UE Boom 2 Bluetooth speaker at Rs.15,995; packs several features and IPX7 rating

    Logitech today launched the UE Boom 2 Bluetooth speaker in the country at a retail price tag of RS. 15,995. The wireless speaker made its global debut in September last year and it took around seven months to arrive in India. The UE Boom 2 is the successor to the Ultimate Ears Boom speaker that was launched launch year.

    The UE Boom 2 is loaded with features over the first generation Boom that has an increased wireless range of up to 100 feet and is now 25 percent louder. The speaker is weather resistant and it carries IPX7 water-resistance rating as well as shock resistance which can handle drops from 5 feet.


    Battery life has been bumped up to 15 hours of playtime on a full charge. There are tap buttons as well to control your speaker. You can also use the Android or iOS app to connect another Boom speaker to double the sound.

    UE Boom 2 is available in five color variations, cherry bomb (red and pink), Phantom (black and gray), GreenMachine (green and blue), Tropical (purple and orange), and BrainFreeze (dark and medium blue).
