Meizu today at an event in Beijing officially launched the MX6 that’s packed together inside a metal chassis. The handset bears a 5.5-inch 1080p display with sharp-made screen, and is protected by a 2.5D glass on the front.

The MX6 is powered by the Helio X20 chip with a deca-core processor (2x [email protected], 4x [email protected], 4x [email protected]), Mali-T880MP4 GPU, and 4GB of RAM.

Under the hood, it gets a capacious 32GB of storage, and supports dula-SIM configuration, LTE Cat.6 connectivity, and a 3060mAh battery with fast charge technology.

The Meizu MX6 has got some interesting camera on the back – 12MP Sony IMX386 1/2.9″ type sensor with 1.4µm pixel size and f/2.0 lens, phase-detection AF, and dual-tone flash.

By the way, the MX6 is the first phone to use this sensor, which the company claims its photo quality is similar to the Galaxy S7 line. On the front, you’ll get a 5MP snapper.

The Meizu MX6 runs on the company’s latest Flyme based on Marshmallow 6.0.1. It will be available in three flavors – Gray, Gold and Silver colors. Priced at CNY 1999 ($299), the phone will be exclusive to China, at least for now. The registrations for the phone open today with sales starting on July 30th.
