Mahindra Bolero 2016 facelift

The homegrown manufacturer’s all time favorite utility vehicles and the India’s most trusted rugged SUV is getting a facelifted version soon. The Bolero has heavily contributed to the growth of the company since its launch, and it sees notable sales all around the calendar.

In a recent few months, the sales of the utility vehicle have declined considerably forcing the manufacturer to release the new Bolero. We are expecting the new Bolero to be released in September.

As long as the Bolero takes on the likes of the Indian customers, the company isn’t going to change the rugged appeal of the vehicle. Since the new Bolero is the facelift version, we can expect only a few cosmetic upgrades on the exterior as well as interior.

On the outside, you’ll see some tweaks on tailgate handle, front, and rear bumpers, and the amber colored tail light. Inside, you’ll get a refreshed dashboard and upholstery to distinguish it from previous models.

The new Bolero will come with the same engine – 2523cc mHawk m2DiCR engine that produces 63 horsepower, clubbed to a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine has been tweaked a little to return a fuel efficiency of 16kmpl.
