Nubia Z11 mini goes official with 5-inch 1080p display, 16MP camera

ZTE has unveiled a new Nubia smartphone in China called the Nubia Z11 mini. The phone is specially designed for the likes of the camera freaks. The company calls the Z11 mini as the “mobile phone professional photography system.” The phone’s primary camera is a 16MP Sony IMX298 sensor that features f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens, phase-detection autofocus, 3D noise reduction, and LED flash. The rear camera also gets RAM DNG shooting mode and ISO that goes up to 12,800. The handset supports 1080p video recording as well.

On the front, there’s an 8MP snapper with f/2.4 aperture and 80-degree lens. The phone features a fingerprint sensor on the back below the camera unit. Other specifications include a 5-inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution under a.25D glass coating, a metal frame, a Snapdragon 617 chipset, Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage, a microSD expansion slot, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Backed by a2800mAh battery, the handset features a hybrid dual-SIM slot and supports 4G LTE along with VoLTE (voice over LTE).

The Nubia Z11 mini will be retailing for CNY 1,500 ($230) and will be available for purchase from company’s online store starting April 25.
