Oppo announced the camera focused smartphone at the CES 2016 trade show and Vietnam will be the first to get this phone on-hand, as the pre-orders for the phone is now up on a major Vietnamese online retailer. The smartphone is priced at VND 6,490,000 (roughly Rs. 19,300) with shipping starting from January 21. The handset will be launched in India on January 28, as per sources.
To recall, the dual-SIM smartphone packs a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 coating protection, a Snapdragon 616 chipset, Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory, microSD extension up to 128GB, and packs a 2500mAh battery. In terms of camera, the handset boasts a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The Oppo F1 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorsOS2.1 skin and it includes all standard connectivity options.
At the time of its CES announcement, Oppo said the new F-Series smartphones will keep photography as its central focus. As per Sky Li, Oppo Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business, the new series is said to “inherit the excellent camera performance and exquisite design tradition.”
