Oppo has released a teaser today, giving us a hint that the company is all set to launch the Oppo R9 on March 17. The unannounced Oppo R9 would presumably be the successor of R7 duo that was launched last year. The teaser states that the phone with ‘9’ in the name will be out on March 17. The Oppo R9 is said to have some top-end specifications and may include support for the company’s recently unveiled Super VOOC fast charging.
As for rumored specifications, the phone will feature a 6-inch QHD touchscreen, a 21 MP rear camera, a 13 MP front snapper, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset, 3 or 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and a 3,700mAh battery. Of course, the handset will be running the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
