Sony just announced the release date, price and a lot more interesting things for PlayStation VR today at the GDC 2016. Before the excitement goes away, Sony begins pre-orders for the headset starting today.  Here’re the accessories you’ll get in the package when you pre-order the headset:

  • PlayRoom VR game
  • Earplugs
  • A breakout box with the additional processing power needed
  • Cables and documentation

PlayStation VR contentsIt is worth to be noted that the PlayStation Move Controllers and PlayStation 4 Camera will have to be purchased separately. PS4 Camera, however, is mandatory for the PS VR to work, though the move controllers are optional.

Sony is expecting to make 50 titles available before the end of the year, including the Star Wars Battlefront title from Dice, Rigs: Mechanised Combat League and BattleZone among others.

Sony also stated that you will be able to play regular PS4 games and videos in virtual cinema with PS VR and that the PS4 Media Player will be updated to support 360-degree photos and videos. It looks weird that Sony is not going to bundle PS4 camera with the PS VR, but the company claims that PS4 owners have already own one. However, if you don’t have one, you can buy it for $60 (Rs. 4,990).
