The current hype among people of India is the Reliance Jio, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries that promises to offer 4G LTE across the country at affordable rates. Reliance Jio, backed by Mukesh Ambani, is yet to be launched commercially in the country. Reliance, however, is running preview 4G early bird offers for all Indians.
The company has secured 846.1 MHz spectrum across 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, and 2300 MHz bands. With a strong foothold in spectrum bands, Jio will offer internet connection at high speeds at an affordable price.

Though we don’t have a clear picture on when the service will be launched commercially, Mukesh Ambani has said, “Jio will see its launch in the coming months.” But, sources close to the industry suggests an October timeframe.
Whatever it maybe, the tariff for data, calling and SMS will be aggressive than its counterparts. Some of the telecom operators like Airtel, Idea and Vodafone have already slashed up to 67% for data.

Reliance will be soon offering JioFiber – wired broadband services, however, there is no word on its launch right now. We’ll update it once it is rolled out officially.
