Royal Enfield Continental GT is now available in green color

    Last Updated: 8 February, 2016

Last week, we have reported that the company would bring new paint schemes to the 2016 line-up and now, there’s exciting news from the manufacturer. Although, we didn’t notice it for a while, the company has silently launched a new green color of the Continental GT.

This motorcycle reinvents the café racer culture and lifestyle associated with it all over the world. The café racer was launched back in November 2013, however, this motorcycle didn’t do well in the Indian market. The company has been experimenting with several colors for their flagship model since its launch. Initially, it was introduced in red and yellow, and later, black was added, however, yellow has been discontinued then. You can now get the one in green color as well when it hits the market.

The Continental GT is powered by a 535cc engine that churns out 29.1bhp and 44Nm of torque through a five-speed transmission. The engine gets a remapped ECU to suit its café racer character and increases performance as well. There’s no word on when the motorcycle would reach the dealers, but it is expected to hit the stores sometime in the first quarter of 2016.
