A fresh rumor out of China has confirmed that iPhone 7 will have waterproofing feature in both variants. The iPhone 7 is expected to roll out in September 2016 and earlier next year, few more products from Apple are expected to go live. That includes new iPads in the spring and a new 4-inch iPhone sometime before the launch of iPhone 7.

DigiTimes reported that a Taiwan-based firm, Catcher Technology will be allegedly providing 30 to 35 percent of the chassis for iPhone 7, which will remain as the largest chassis supplier for Apple’s upcoming new iPhone products, according to the Commercial Times citing a report from a research firm.

Additionally, it claims that a new compound will be used to hide the antenna, which would be great news for the iPhone lovers.

These are rumors, for now, so take it as rumors, but interesting nonetheless.
