Samsung has launched the 2016 models of the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 for India at its forum event in Kuala Lumpur today. Both are priced at Rs. 29,400 and Rs. 33,400 respectively, and the two devices shares almost similar specifications except the screen size, battery and RAM capacity. The Galaxy A7 boasts higher specs than the A5 – the former sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and a larger 3000mAh battery while the latter features 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, and a 2900mAh battery.
Other common specs include a Snapdragon 615 chipset, 16GB of inbuilt storage, a microSD expansion up to 128GB, 13megapixels on the back, and 5-megapixels at the front. Both supports dual-SIM functionality, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, ANT+, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 will be available for purchase on both offline and online modes starting February 15.
