Sony India has launched yet another powerful portable wireless speaker called the SRS-XB3 in India. Carrying a price tag of Rs. 12,999, the speaker is ergonomically designed with Extra Bass Technology that promises to deliver quality thumping sounds.

The SRS-XB3 wireless speaker features Sony’s own digital signal processor aimed to deliver seamless music with no lag. There’s a dedicated button for Extra bass, pressing the same will deliver deep bass. The punchy bass is achieved through 48mm full range driver that is powered by a powerful magnet and long drive. The speaker is water resistant and that play songs seamlessly for up to 24 hours on a single charge, which is powered by a whopping 8800mAh battery.

Sony’s SRS-XB3 wireless speaker can be connected with other compatible devices over Bluetooth or NFC. It houses native LDAC audio technology which transmits data volume to other devices wirelessly over three times than the existing techs and it is claimed to be the first to deliver Hi-Res audio using Bluetooth Audio. The speakers can be configured in multiple setups, single or dual setup by pairing two speakers wirelessly to create a stereo mode.

With a massive battery, the speaker also can be used as a power bank for charging smartphones and other compatible devices via a USB-A port. The speakers are available in six colours, namely red, yellow, green, blue, light brown, and black. Availability of particular colours, though, varies by region. Measuring 211x80x83mm, the wireless speaker weighs 930 grams.

Sony has launched its MDX-XB650BT Extra Bass Bluetooth Headphones back in March in India, priced at Rs. 7,990. Explore more about the Bluetooth Headphones here.
