Acer has announced a premium laptop called the Chormebook 14 running the latest version of Chrome OS packed inside the aluminum frame. The laptop looks gorgeous with a premium feel, thanks to the metal built.
The Acer Chromebook 14 features a 14-inch display with two types of screen resolution – FHD (1920×1080 pixels) and HD (1366×768 pixels) placed inside an all-metal chassis. You can either choose a quad-core Intel Celeron processor or a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Celeron N3060 processor. You can also choose between 2GB and 4GB of RAM with either 16GB or 32GB of eMMC for storage. It also boats dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, one HDMI out, and an HD (1280×720 pixels) webcam.
Acer isn’t revealing the cost of the Chormebook right now, however, the one with 1080p display will set you back for $299. The chromebook 14 will be hitting the US and Canada market sometime in April.
