DJI Matrice 600: DJI has launched its new drone, the Matrice 600, the most powerful drone DJI ever built that’s designed to carry heavy camera rigs. Earlier last month, the company unveiled its latest Phantom series drone, the Phantom 4.
Designed for professional aerial photography and industrial applications, the Matrice 600 has a six rotor system that can carry maximum payload of up to 6 kilograms. It boasts modular design that makes it easy to set up and ready to use in minutes.
DJI Matrice 600 Specs and Features
The DJI Matrice 600 is compatible with DJI’s own Zenmuse Z15 series cameras, gimbals, and the brand new Ronin-MX gimbal and a range of cameras from Micro Four Thirds systems to the RED Epic.
The DJI Matrice 600 packs several features including the new A3 flight controller and Lightbridge 2 video transmission technology along with dust proof propulsion systems. The M600 has a range of up to 5 kilometers that has the ability to transmit 1080p videos.
The A3 flight controller uses sine-wave driven electronic speed controllers for accurate movements in the air. The self-adaptive flight system adjusts parameters automatically based on the payload.
The DJI Matrice 600 packs a six custom battery array that can continue to fly even if one of the batteries fail and can fly for around 36 minutes. DJI’s new Lightbridge 2 is said to be designed from the ground up to meet the requirements of professional broadcasting, offering high frame rates and HD live streaming.
The M600 can be upgraded to DJI’s Real-Time Kinematic Technology that uses steady flight patterns so you’ll be getting the same shot every time. The M600 supports the DJI GO app, which allows you to remotely monitor the live video feed, battery, and redundancy status, transmission strength and also adjusts the camera aperture, shutter speed, photo and video capturing.
The DJI Matrice 600 is priced at $4599 (approx. Rs. 3,06,100) and the Ronin-MX sets you another $1599 (Rs. 1,06,302).
