microsoft edge adblock puls support

AdBlock Plus support is no longer exclusive to Chrome browser anymore, as Microsoft has added support for add-ons to its Edge browser. The Windows Insider Program members were already using them, but it is now open to the general public with the Anniversary Update.

With the new extensions support added to Edge browser, you’ll be able to block annoying ads as well as you can add more extensions to it, as they are coming on their way. It works similar to Chrome browser, but you may encounter some issues since it is still in development.

Microsoft will be rolling out Anniversary Update to Windows 10 users in the coming weeks and if the Windows 10 update doesn’t support AdBlock Plus or any other extension today, don’t worry, it will be added to your Edge browser in the upcoming updates.
